We’re hiring for: Pro-Painting Technicians, Pro-Painting Technician Crew Leaders

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $50,000 – $75,000/Year +
90 Day Training Pay Rate: $20/Hr.
Starting Pay Rate (Upon Training Completion): $22/Hr with a $29/Hr Performance Bonus Rate

The path to success

To become a part of our company all new hires must first complete our PPT Training Program. This 90 day program equips each new team member with all of the protocols, procedures, and mindset needed to operate as a Pro-Painting Technician with our company. The more professional painting experience you already have coming in, the faster you will excel through our program. 

*All candidates are required to have at least 2 years of previous professional residential painting experience to enter into our program.

We love to hire painters who already know the craft. However, no matter how much experience you have, or what position you are applying for, all new hires go through our training program to learn our company protocols, procedures, and align with our core value system. Why? Because when all of our team members work together using the same methods & mindset, daily productivity is at its best and our reputation for excellence is maintained! 

What’s in it for you?

Pay rate during the PPT Training Program is $20/hr. During this period your official title will be Pro-Painting Technician Apprentice. You will remain in “Apprentice” status during your training until you pass your field assessment and written testing. This training program typically lasts 90 days. Our goal is to have you 100% ready to be operating with excellence without need of any instruction or supervision by your 90 day mark – following all of our methods, protocols, and procedures. After passing your field assessment & written tests you will be promoted to the official position of Pro-Painting Technician. Each Pro-Painting Technician’s starting wage is $22/Hr and $29/Hr with their performance bonus rate engaged. Several pay raises will also be given throughout your first year of employment as you grow and become a valued asset to our company. By the 12 month mark with our company you will be making $25/Hr and $32/Hr with your performance bonus rate engaged. *All pay raises are subject to evaluation and passing performance reviews at each given bench mark.

For many of our team members the position of Pro-Painting Technician is a great long term fit. The pay is excellent and your earning potential will continue to increase the longer you stay with our company – each subsequent year earning additional pay raises. 

If you possess leadership qualities and incredible customer service skills then you may want to consider becoming a PPT Crew Leader. Any Pro-Painting Technician with the drive to be promoted can enter into our Crew Leader training program. Prerequisites: Candidate must be employed with SPS as a Pro-Painting Technician for a minimum of 9 months and show exceptional leadership capabilities. Earning potential for a PPT Crew Leader is over $75,000/year.

• Must have 2+ years previous professional residential painting experience
• Must be comfortable and physically capable of going up/down ladders daily
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must provide your own transportation to and from our office

• Must have a positive attitude and a polite, respectful manner
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be engaged in the learning process and want to better your abilities
